Pets Name:  Barney Boardman

Biography:  

My Barnes was the best boy. He was born on Appletree Farm in Skinners Bottom in Cornwall on 9.2.12 and was the biggest of Maisie’s pups.

We brought him home at Easter 2012 and rechristened him Barney – he was originally promised to someone else who called him Nigel but they then changed their mind.

He loved swimming for sticks in the sea. He loved his walks on Netley Beach, at Westwood and on the RVCP.

He loved people more than other dogs – especially my daughter Katy and his best adult friend Eric, who looked after him when we were away.

His favourite food was chicken and pate, which he had before he was sedated by the vet.

He loved all his toys and would bring you one when you came through the door.

He has left the biggest paw-shaped hole in our lives – we will love you forever Barnes xxx
