Michaels Wood Natural Burial Ground
Surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside, Michael’s Wood is a
wonderful old wood set in the heart of the historic, privately owned
Cholderton Estate on the Hampshire Wiltshire borders (approximately 10
miles due North of Salisbury).
It seemed a natural progression from the organic/conservation aspects of
the estate that a woodland burial site should become a part of the
landscape. No matter what time of the year you visit the wood, it is
always stunning, with the sound of many
different types of birds all round you.
It is also one of the only sites in the country that is licensed for
human and pet burials that can be incorporated together at a future
date.
